happy new year!

since last we spoke i had a birthday and birthday PARTY, and so did jesus. plus it's now a new year! the birthday party was super and i have zero photos from it. you'll just have to trust me. i asked santa for a non-xmas to be spent in a vegetative state and he granted me that because i'd been such a good girl all year. the band had an end of year show this past saturday and the famous jeff wilson and steve shotts added their glorious banjo-ness to the mix to make it all the more special. quite an epic show went down at giordano brothers in north beach, to say the least. i have zero pictures from that, too, though you can see tiny youtube snippets here, here, and here. here are the fellas practicing in my kitchen the night before the big show..

that may have been even more epic in that we consumed 30 tecate's, played loudly until 2am with zero neighbor repercussions (i love my neighbors), and were falling over stupid at the end. goooood times.

here's my brother, quent, me (and my new haircut!), and quent's wife, linda, hanging out for the new year at their place in burlingame..

we played scrabble and pigged out, drank like fishies, and watched quent's new massive HD TV, which was really quite spectacular. even more rad was that i inherited quent's previous ginormous tv which now takes up two-thirds of my bedroom.

i've spent nice vacation in freezing san francisco, mellowing out and making 75 new belt buckles (which will be uploaded to the booty site by the end of this week), cleaning the fuck out of my house, introspecting and socializing. all my very favorite things in the whole world.
